Hello there & welcome to Create & Bloom Crafts
I'm Louise - an award-winning Artist, Designer and Teacher, with an inner passion to share the love for all the arts and crafts.
About Me
Whether you’re looking for private tuition in Art or in the resin/social media world you have landed in the right place.
I have an extensive NHS and Teaching background and a real passion for community crafting. I believe that everybody should have the opportunity to unlock the transformative power of art and imagination to change lives.
I have a degree in Community Care & Business Management with an Art for Therapy background. So, whether you want to indulge in some creative ‘me time’, ‘therapeutic’ or 'mindfulness' art I’m available. I also have a Business and Marketing Degree so, let me help you confidently push your small business to the next level.
You would be most welcome to visit me in my beautiful spacious studio or I can visit you in your home or setting. Video calls or Zooms are also available upon request.
I can also devise you a bespoke made craft kit for your party or event - these requests prove very popular and I’d be grateful of 2-4 weeks notice in order to fulfil this request absolutely perfect for you.
A class for everyone
My arts and crafts workshops take place online via Zoom or in my studio situated in the heart of the Cotswolds - Bourton-on-the-Water. There is ample parking on site! There is also a set of stairs up to the studio as well as bathrooms and kitchen facilities.
My craft store and studio is open any time of day or as required. My favourite time of day is when the sun begins to set and casts everything with a golden glow, I like to use this time of day for lesson planning, designing and most importantly welcoming students to paint and create with me.
A place free from distractions somewhere we can relax, listen to therapeutic music, and use our love for colour and texture to create the most beautiful Art and Crafts. I liked the idea of being able to look at the rendering of my studio and feel I could step right into it and feel at home; I hope you have this feeling too.
When considering some indulgent Art Therapy with me in my studio do remember all materials and substrates are included (unless stated). I do ask for a minimum of two week's notice to cancel - this simply allows me to offer the booking space to another person.
I can't wait to share my passion for art, craft & nature with you and to see you soon.
Award-Winning Supplies
If I love it, and it has a dedicated space in my studio, then I sure as heck want to share it with you; I know you’ll love it too!
I love working with the very best of products, I work tirelessly behind the scenes testing every single product thoroughly before I am confident enough for you guys to purchase it.
As a resin & craft teacher, I know first hand the delight to have all my resin pigments & supplies around me when working and making art; I don’t want to feel restricted with a limited palette, I want access to every pigment, glitter, embellishment, tool and mould available to me. I have plans to expand my resin pigment paste range, bring in new glitters and my own acrylic paints and eco resin colours. Watch this space!
It's hugely important to me that my products are as environmentally-friendly as possible. I source my pigments from an English ISO and REACH accredited company committed to doing everything they can to protect the environment, my glitters come from another ISO accredited company who take the wellbeing of their employees very seriously, and my flowers and moulds are grown or made by me!
All of my craft supplies come in either reusable glass or recyclable plastic containers. You can refill the glass jars over and over again and all plastic packaging I use should be recycled by your local HRC. My trademark pink boxes are made from FSC certified wood and all the postal packaging I use was either sent to me (if it's plastic) or bought by me as recyclable packaging.
My sparkles, craft kits and pigments steal your hearts, and for that I am very happy.
